Will this wind ever stop?

We are in the middle of April and instead of rain we have wind. Personally I prefer rain and snow to wind because at least it is would be watering my plants or in the case of snow, keeping them dormant a little longer. Call me whiny but having grit in my teeth and eyes and hair is something that is not enjoyable.

Chamomile kidded at about 1 p.m. Three really beautiful little bucklings that will be raised for three months and about the same time that they would wean will be when we butcher them. On our tiny acreage we just can't feed that many goats without damaging our pastures. During those three months they will keep Chamomile's milk supply up. The only real downside is that baby goats are escape artists. Even with their mama on a tether they will find a way to get into fruit trees and vegetable gardens--but I refuse to put babies in tiny pens or on tethers because, well; babies need to play, even if they are destined for the soup pot.
