I really love this blog. Usually homesteading websites are written by people that are just starting out and they tend to dwindle down until there is no activity...plus the information tends to be reruns of what is already out there. This blog 5acresandadream.com has been there for the longhaul. It goes into cooking, gardening, animal husbandry, woodburning stoves, and health. Then, as if a blog wasn't enough, Leigh Tate wrote a book titled, '5 Acres and a Dream, The Book', and I want one so bad! She is doing a book giveaway to a random person and hopefully I get it! So check out her blog and tell me what you think! If I don't win one I definitely need to buy one because even if most of her information isn't new to me, it is just nice to sometimes find a kindred spirit!
